"Most evaluation reports are written for the institution receiving them. Ours are also written for the family who lived through them — in the language they read, in the cultural register they understand." — Alif Ahmed, LCSW · Senior Clinician of Record
Autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and dyslexia, from Pre-K through adult. Each evaluation pairs gold-standard instruments — the ADOS-2, DIVA-5, DIVA-2, CLDQ-R, and ARHQ — with culturally responsive clinical interviewing and multi-informant collateral.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker. NYU PhD candidate (Social Work Intervention). MS in Advanced Clinical Social Work from Columbia. Adjunct faculty at NYU Silver and Fordham. Over a decade of direct ASD service across Shema Kolainu, RCIL Community Habilitation, and the NYU Child Study Center.

We offer a sliding-scale payment system so the fee adjusts to your annual household income. This keeps the evaluation accessible to families with lower incomes while asking those with greater financial capacity to contribute more.
Pricing is transparent, fair, and disclosed up front. Sliding scale applies to autism, ADHD, and dyslexia evaluations. Therapy intake and IEP/OPWDD documentation are billed separately; we accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most major commercial plans for those services.
The evaluation process begins with an initial clinical interview and is followed by detailed psychometric and diagnostic assessments — including the ADOS-2 for autism, DIVA-5 or DIVA-2 for ADHD, and CLDQ-R or ARHQ for dyslexia and reading — along with structured collateral interviews with parents, teachers, and other relevant providers. After the interview, at least one hour is dedicated to post-interview research, scoring, and clinical review to support the client's narrative. From start to finish, including the compilation of a comprehensive APA-style report that includes DSM-5 diagnostic conclusions, scored instrument results, behavioral observations, and tailored recommendations for school (IEP / CSE), college (Disability Resource Center), or workplace (ADA) settings, the entire process is completed within a four-week timeframe — ensuring an efficient yet thorough assessment.
The evaluation consists of a one-hour clinical interview and a one-hour follow-up session, plus additional collateral interviews with parents, school teams, and other relevant entities, designed to provide a comprehensive assessment. During these sessions, the clinician and client engage in a one-on-one conversation to build rapport and a therapeutic alliance. This approach facilitates an in-depth exploration of validated psychometric tools and questionnaires — including the ADOS-2, SCQ, ABAS-3, DIVA-5 / DIVA-2, CLDQ-R, and ARHQ, administered as clinically indicated by age and presenting concern. Together, these elements contribute to a holistic understanding of the client's cognitive, behavioral, developmental, and functional profile across home, school, and clinical contexts — and ground a diagnosis that holds up to the institutions that will receive it.
